Dr. Rhonda Markowsky
Dr. Rhonda Markowsky graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry in 1990 with great distinction. She and her husband Todd immediately moved to Camrose and began their careers.
Dr. Markowsky is married to Todd, who is a Registered Psychologist and teacher at Camrose Composite High School. Their children, John and Brynn have been very active in the dance community and are presently attending university.
She provides all aspects of family dentistry and enjoys establishing long lasting relationships with her patients. Away from the office, Dr. Markowsky enjoys photography, music and performing arts.
Dr. Kaylie La
Dr. Kaylie La was born and raised in Alberta. She attended the University of Alberta where she received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery. Throughout the years, she has been involved in several organizations and volunteer work. These have included the University of Alberta Pre-Dental Society, the Dental Students’ Association, Kindness in Action, SHINE dentistry, and many more. Dr. La is currently a member of the board of directors of the Edmonton &; District Dental Society. One of her most memorable experiences was a trip to Panama where she was able to provide free dental care to under-serviced populations.
Dr. La is passionate about dentistry and delivering quality care. She takes pride in her attention to detail, patient-centred care, and desire to continue to learn and grow. Dr. La provides all aspects of family dentistry, including preventative care, fillings, crowns and bridges, veneers, extractions, root canals, neuromodulators (eg. Botox and Dysport), and more.
Dr. La joined the dental staff of Camrose Dental Health Centre in 2021. She has enjoyed becoming a part of the community and caring for her patients.
Outside of the clinic, you will find her rock climbing, playing badminton, spending time with family, and binging Netflix.
Dr. Shane Ashton
Dr. Cody Smith
Dr. Cody Smith graduated from the University of Alberta, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He then enrolled in the U of A Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree in 2017.
Dr. Smith has completed advanced surgical training in Dental Implants, wisdom teeth extractions, and intravenous (IV) sedation.
Born in Alberta, but moving to Whitehorse, Yukon at a young age, Dr. Smith loves spending time outdoors regardless of the weather.
When he’s not practicing dentistry you can find him mountain biking in the summer or snowboarding in the winter. Dr. Smith is also an avid traveller and is always up for an adventure! Feel free to ask him about any of his travels.
Dr. Paul Nassar
Dr. Paul Nassar graduated from the University of Alberta & obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto.
Dr. Nassar was a commissioned officer in the Canadian Armed Forces for 6 years. As a military dentist he provided comprehensive dental care for Canadian military members. During his time in the military he developed policies outlining the treatment of high risk individuals.
Outside of the military clinic Dr. Nassar also provides dental care for the community. Dr. Nassar has a passion for learning the most current dental methods in order to provide excellent care for his patients. As a published dentist, he is also dedicated to teaching a variety of topics such as pediatric dentistry, nitrous sedation and emergency dental and medical interventions. He takes great interest in facial aesthetics ranging from complete smile redesigns to Botox rejuvenation therapy. Dr. Nassar is also certified in Invisalign, implants, IV sedation & neuromodulator therapy !
Outside of work Dr. Nassar can be found at the many summer events Camrose has to offer. He’s also an avid Formula 1 fan & car enthusiast!
